Conservative Power Play in Comox!

COMOX, BC, January 15, 2019 — This Sunday, January 20th at 10 am, the North Island—Powell River Conservative Association is hosting a meet the candidate event at the Comox Community Centre - 1855 Noel Avenue, Comox. In addition to our Conservative candidate, Shelley Downey, we will be joined by a special guest speaker, the newest Conservative MP - Richard Martel who is joining us from Chicoutimi - Le Fjord, Quebec.

In his new role as a Member of Parliament, Richard serves on the Standing Committee on National Defence. Prior to his June 2018 election, Richard Martel was a “bench boss”, a decorated head coach in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) so he was well prepared for the hard-hitting action in the House of Commons. Come learn the exciting story of how he beat the pundit’s expectations and swept his riding in an exciting and incredible power play!

Pre-registration is requested. To book a seat to meet Shelley Downey and MP, Richard Martel, please visit Registration for Comox Meet The Candidate.

In the afternoon, Richard Martel will be back on the ice dropping the puck at the BCHL game between the Alberni Valley Bulldogs and the Powell River Kings in Port Alberni.

Our North Island—Powell River Conservative Association is comprised of a diverse collection of ordinary hardworking Canadian citizens who believe in basic conservative principles. The riding encompasses Comox, Campbell River, the north island and Powell River. For more information visit www.niprconservatives.ca.
